Welcome to the Seer Green Gardeners' Autumn Fest page!
We hope that the events below provide something for everyone.
Many of the sessions can only take limited numbers, book your places fast!
Tickets are on a donation basis, and unfortunately there seems to be a gremlin in the system which means currently you have to buy each ticket separately - we can’t do multiple tickets in one purchase. Sorry about that!

Sadly the Zoom talk on Friday 15th has had to be cancelled due to illness.  Hopefully Timothy Walker will come to talk to us in real life in the winter.

Birdwatching with Richard Tomlin
Friday 15th October at 9.30am
Sunday 17th October at 9.30am

Richard's birdwatching walks around the village in Spring Fest were a sell out.  For Autumn Fest we are inviting you to go a little further afield. Marlow Gravel Pit is a favourite location for bird watching, particularly at this time of the year. As ever, you can rely on Richard to keep you spell bound!  Numbers are limited.  These events are raising money for the Bucks Wildlife Trust.

Foraging walks with Jesper Launder
Saturday 16th October at 10am, 12.30pm and 3pm
Hodgemoor Woods

A new event for Autumn Fest 2021.  Join Jesper Launder, experienced forager and herbalist, as he gives us an opportunity to learn about the bounty of our local area in a fun and educational way.  There will be three walks conducted in Hodgemoor Woods during the day and numbers are limited, booking in advance is essential.

10am till 11.20am  www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/169314140151

12.30 pm till 1.50pm - sorry, this is sold out! www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/170270759425

Community Bring and Buy produce sale
Sunday 17th October at 3pm
Seer Green Baptist Church, Woodpond Close

Although we have not been able to run our normal Autumn Show this year, we are giving you an opportunity to share your growing prowess, or your baking and craft making skills!  Bring along any surplus vegetables and fruit, or cakes, jams, chutneys to share with the community.  Or perhaps you have some craft work that you would like to donate?  Donations will be accepted from 1.30pm, and then the sale will start at 3pm.  All monies raised will go to One Can.

Autumn flower display arranging with Rachel Gibson
Sunday 17th October at 5.30pm
Seer Green Baptist Church, Woodpond Close

Join Seer Green resident, Rachel Gibson, as she demonstrates how to make an autumn flower display.  In Spring Fest Rachel's session had to be on Zoom, we are delighted that for Autumn Fest we can meet in real life, so that she can guide participants to make something stunning to take home.  This event is raising money for Cure Parkinson's Trust.  Numbers are limited, booking in advance is essential.

We are so delighted that the two village pubs are going to take part in Autumn Fest too!

The Jolly Cricketers will be offering a special Autumn cocktail, for the duration of the festival only.

And The Three Horseshoes are offering Afternoon Teas to take away on Saturday 16th October, collection between 12pm - 2pm.
Pre-orders can be made by emailing info@thethreehorseshoesatseergreen.co.uk by Tuesday 12th October.
Included per head at £11.50:
