Spring Fest
Saturday 3rd - Monday 5th May 2025
SPRINGFEST took place in May 2025 with weekend of activities over the early May bank holiday weekend.
As part of SpringFest we held our ever popular plant sale, with a selection of nursery-grown bedding plants, annuals and perennials on sale in the Baptist Church car park, along with a stall selling donated seedlings, cuttings and plants.
This was a great opportunity to get some plants that will enhance people's gardens over the summer.
While delicious home-make cakes were on sale in the church.

Scarecrow Trail and Bird Identification Walk
Two additional events were incorporated into SpringFest this year. We had a very popular scarecrow competition around the village and an expert-led bird walk in Hodegmoor Woods.
34 handmade scarecrows were displayed throughout the village for a weekend competition trail. This year's theme for the scarecrows was children's book characters. The local community were invited to guess the characters and to vote for their favourites from the amazing display of scarecrows.
Passionate bird expert Richard Tomlin, from Amersham Bird Club led a magical early morning walk around Hodgemoor Wood in Seer Green. He engaged the audience as they went on this informative bird identification walk. No charge was made for the walk. SG Gardeners will make a donation to Berk, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust.
